Spring Showstopper – Emira Stuns the Lower Mainland

The Emira promises to be one of the most exciting and revered sportscars to be released by Lotus. As Lotus’ final internal combustion engine-powered vehicle, it serves as a captivating encapsulation of nearly eight-decades of engineering know-how, while previewing the exciting future of the storied British brand as it continues to step towards electrification.

Before deliveries begin later this year, we had the pleasure of once again hosting a press vehicle this past May. The Nimbus Grey First Edition V6 Emira was the star of two events over two weekends, all the while in-between drawing countless eyes of onlookers walking past our dealership. Its first weekend outing was on a sunny Saturday, May 20th at the picturesque VanDusen Botanical Garden for the 36th annual All British Field Meet. Featured among a vast array of classic and modern British cars, including other Lotus models, the Emira was received with great fanfare of existing and new Lotus fans alike.

The following Saturday, May 27th saw the Emira complement the stunning views of the Sea-to-Sky Highway where a Cars and Coffee meet was held at Outbound Station. Delectable, fresh-brewed coffee had with sensational service in the early morning – starting at 8:00am to try and guarantee less traffic for those driving to the meet. Over 60 cars joined, all suited for a great variety of car enthusiasts. Among others in attendance were classic Lotus Sevens, Porsche 911s spanning several decades, and newer Lotus Elise and Evora models, all driven by owners eager to see and have a seat in the Emira.
